ANIMAL RESCUE AND CARE (ARC) IS A VOLUNTARY ANIMAL WELFARE CHARITY.
They are based in the Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames, although they operate in the general areas of Surrey, Middlesex and SW London. At ARC their priority is to rescue, foster, re-home and assist all types of animals, while also offering advice, information and raising public awareness about animal welfare.

The Pet Rock Festival is an annual event held in the USA within the first two weeks of September each year.
Proceeds from the festival are distributed to Massachusetts-based animal welfare organizations, including shelters, cruelty watchdogs and rescue leagues. Regular recipients of our festival include the Sterling Animal Shelter, National Association for Humane and Environmental Education (NAHEE) and the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA). $1,000, $500 and $250 awards are also anded to rescue groups and shelters that win our coveted “lottery” and “adoptable dog parade” during the festival.
