About Lost-Doggies UK

Lost-Doggies UK has been on-line since 2001. It's primary purpose is to enable a dog owner to report the loss of his\her dog to an audience of thousands across the UK. Likewise, it allows someone who has found another persons lost dog to create a report to facilitate the possibility of the true owner being re-united, regardless of geographical boundaries.

Since 2001, thousands of 'lost dog reports' and 'found dog reports' have been filed on-line at Lost-Doggies UK. In 2004 we expanded to enable rescue shelters to advertise dogs that they have available for rehoming. This too has been immensely successful...far more than we ever envisaged.

The site was created and continues to be maintained by Ted Smith. He is 31, married and has owned three rescued dogs since 1997. He is also a keen semi-professional photographer. He specializes in the photography of dogs but is quite versatile photographing all kinds of wildlife, landscapes etc. If you're interested, you can see his on-line portfolio and a description of his services over at  www.tedsmithphotography.com. He is also interested in computing and consequently created and administers the 'F3 First Forensic Forum' website - www.f3.org.uk
